In conformity with Law No. 97/021 of 10 September 1997 relating to private security activities and Decree No. 2005/031 of 2 February 2005 on the application of the above-cited law, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization supported by the public authorities concerned, has for some years now engaged a process to cleanse this very sensitive activity sector.
