DECENTRALIZED COOPERATION : MINATD IS THANKFUL TO NATHALIE EPHRITIKINE |

The hall of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization was the venue of a medal award ceremony on Thursday 9 April 2009. Mme Nathalie Ephritikine, Adviser from the French Technical Assistance put at the disposal of MINATD, was raised to the Knight of the Cameroon Order of Merit, as she got to the end of her mandate in Cameroon. The ceremony that was presided at by the Minister of State, Marafa Hamidou Yaya, was also attended by the Minister Delegate Emmanuel Edou and the Ambassador of France in Cameroon, Mr Georges Serre. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of State, Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization lauded the actions of she who, for five years, has made a decisive contribution to the process of furthering decentralization in Cameroon. He equally used the occasion to laud the steady good cooperation ties between France and Cameroon. This point of view was also expressed by Mr Georges Serre in his speech that followed that of the Minister of State, Marafa Hamidou Yaya.
